Obviously I bit the bullet and uploaded my art from Sweetly Venomous here. For those wondering... Who: Yes, these are all made by hand, by me. What: They are (mostly, with a few exceptions) real animals scaled up or down to a convenient jewelry size. I can take requests through the Alchemy section of Etsy. How: The jewelry is all made out of Sculpey clay and other mixed media. The shiny ones are coated with enamel (AKA nail polish), and the wings are either made out of vinyl or ShrinkyDink. I know how rough I am on my own jewelry, so I try to make these pieces reasonably durable. It takes me anywhere from an hour to several hours to compl

Spring Cleaning

I am slowly considering dropping the "hiding under a rock" routine and actually uploading art again. First step is spring cleaning. I like the "storage" thingamajigger that DA has now, I threw a ton of crap in there in leiu of deleting it (because I can't figure out how). The "Halo Thanksgiving" piece was one of them. Yes, it got a lot of faves, and that's very nice. But in the end, I didn't like it. I didn't feel it was a good example of my work, and I'm shooing it away.
