For those wondering...

Who: Yes, these are all made by hand, by me.

What: They are (mostly, with a few exceptions) real animals scaled up or down to a convenient jewelry size. I can take requests through the Alchemy section of Etsy.

How: The jewelry is all made out of Sculpey clay and other mixed media. The shiny ones are coated with enamel (AKA nail polish), and the wings are either made out of vinyl or ShrinkyDink. I know how rough I am on my own jewelry, so I try to make these pieces reasonably durable. It takes me anywhere from an hour to several hours to complete a piece, depending on the complexity and if I know what the heck I'm doing when I start (many of the techniques I use have been discovered by trial and error).

When: These are all available for purchase right now. If any are sold, I'll make a note on the image of them here on DA. If something you like has been sold, I can always make another one, although no two will be exactly the same.

How much: Currently between US $10 and $50. I try to keep my prices reasonable for all parties involved.

No, I cannot in good faith agree to produce any fan art for money. This means I can make a pin of your favorite bug (probably!), but I cannot make a sculpt of your Warcraft character.
